Sylvanus Chiaku, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, Cph., has been a pharmacist for 17 years and joined FreseniusRx in 2013. Growing up, he was always excited about any opportunity to help an ailing person get better. Pharmacy was a perfect fit.

He is passionate about his role as a pharmacist, including direct patient care, active ingredients synthesis and extraction, drug manufacturing and distribution. Sylvanus wishes more patients would ask him about lifestyle modifications or pharmacological interventions that could be made to prevent or delay loss of kidney function.

When he is not working with patients on dialysis, Sylvanus spends time at home with his family, engages with his church at community events and prayers, and visits with friends and extended family members.
