As senior director of finance and accounting for FreseniusRx, Matt Sherrill oversees the accounting, finance, data analytics, and business intelligence teams.

Since joining FreseniusRx four and a half years ago, Sherrill has served as a senior accountant, accounting manager, and director of finance. During his tenure, Sherrill has been instrumental in implementing improved cash, accounts receivable, and inventory controls; designing and implementing new close-of-month processes and reporting mechanisms; and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, overall. Sherrill has also led the organization through multiple internal and SOX audits.

With nearly seven years of finance experience across a broad range of healthcare sectors, including benefits management, insurance, and surgery centers, Sherrill brings a wealth of financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership to the team.

A certified public accountant, Sherrill earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accountancy from Belmont University.
