As director of sales for FreseniusRx, Justin Wernig expands the company’s presence in the western half of the United States. He helps to drive regional sales functions, managing a team of account managers to help close the gap in pharmacy knowledge and processes. Wernig brings an expertise in health care sales strategy, in particular End Stage Renal Disease, to direct and coach regional managers to achieve sales goals.
He has helped evolve account management functions to provide more robust support to dialysis clinics. In his previous role as an account manager, Wernig was the top performing asset in the west, leading and participating in advisory committees and supporting pilot programs to expand pharmacy services. His responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers to ensure operational objectives are met. As a former certified hemodialysis technician for Fresenius Medical Care, he has years of experience serving patients with kidney disease and working collaboratively with dialysis staff. His unique combination of clinical, account management and leadership experience helps him to grow business and improve FreseniusRx utilization
Wernig began his career with Fresenius Medical Care as a hemodialysis technician and preceptor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine and biological sciences at Lewis University in Illinois.
