As director of business development for FreseniusRx, Justin Lane provides oversight and guidance to pharmacy account managers in targeted geographies to support pharmacy integration and business goals. Working in collaboration with pharmacy and clinic leadership, he helps to build thoughtful strategies to communicate the pharmacy’s mission and core values as well as execute membership and advertising programs to gain market share.
In his role, Lane creates market models to forecast the opportunity by geography, predicting new business needs in any assigned region. He plays an integral role, contributing to the improvement of outcomes and efficiencies by ensuring the clinic teams are properly trained. As a former Financial Coordinator for Fresenius Medical Care, he has 6 years of specializing in End Stage Renal Disease and integrated selling into large nephrology groups and clinics. He also brings an extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance companies, having served patients from dialysis clinics.
Lane earned his bachelor’s degree in communication studies at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He has also earned his certificate in Integrity Selling. In addition, Lane runs a scholarship and dropout prevention program geared toward students who have encountered challenges which may prevent graduation. The program supports academic achievement and promotes long-term success.
